Chiaramonte Gulfi Olive Oil Museum

The museum is housed in the lower floors of Palazzo Montesano, in seven rooms with barrel vaults; these spaces display tools related to olive oil extraction technology. A press from 1614, a stone mill, jars, oil measurement instruments, and countless various tools and utensils. Everyday objects and ingenious devices specific to rural images and environments.

The heart of the ancient farming civilization is depicted, in that mythical time of memory that unfolds before the visitor with its ingenuity and hardships.
