The collection of shells, starfish, sea urchins, fish, fossils, and the archaeological section where you can admire six Roman amphorae, some of which were found in a shipwreck near the Ognina port, is very evocative.
The sea, a symbolic and archetypal element, a meeting point of civilizations, which connects and brings together cultures, customs, religions and has always been the basis of human life, is present in every corner of the museum with its evocative and magical power.
For this reason, the museum easily serves as a permanent workshop of the historical and scientific culture of the marine environment and the ideal, magical, and welcoming place to bring out the emotions linked to the suggestions evoked by the sea.
