In the rooms, some significant artifacts of Islamic artistic origin from countries around the Mediterranean basin are exhibited. Among these, the elegant musciarabia (from the Arabic masrabiyya) stand out, wooden lattice screens (composed of hundreds of spindles interlocked to form, like lace, refined and light ornamental designs and motifs) and everyday or sometimes decorative utensils (candlesticks, bowls, basins, mortars) mainly made of brass with engraved decorations often enriched with fine wires and sheets (agemine) in gold and silver.
It is also possible to visit the splendid Zisa garden, completely restored, with the imposing water basin and its characteristic jets
