In the rooms, some significant artifacts of Islamic artistic origin from countries of the Mediterranean basin are exhibited. Among these, the elegant musciarabia (from the Arabic masrabiyya), wooden lattice screens (composed of hundreds of spindles interlocked to form, like lace, refined and delicate designs and ornamental motifs) and common utensils or sometimes furnishings (candlesticks, bowls, basins, mortars) mainly made of brass with engraved decorations and often embellished with agemine (thin wires and sheets) in gold and silver are of particular importance.
It is also possible to visit the splendid garden of the Zisa, fully restored, with the imposing water basin and its characteristic jets
