In the rooms, some significant artifacts of Islamic artistic origin from countries around the Mediterranean basin are on display. Among these, the elegant musciarabia (from the Arabic masrabiyya), wooden lattice screens (composed of hundreds of spools interlocked to form, like lace, refined and delicate patterns and ornamental motifs) and everyday or sometimes decorative utensils (candlesticks, bowls, basins, mortars) made mainly of brass with engraved decorations and often embellished with agemina (thin wires and sheets) in gold and silver are particularly noteworthy.
It is also possible to visit the splendid garden of the Zisa, completely restored, with the imposing water basin and its characteristic jets
