The first floor of the palace houses the Gypsotheca of the Municipal Gallery of Modern Art “Empédocles Restivo”, which gathers around sixty plaster sculptures made between the mid-19th century and the early 20th century. It is a valuable collection, consisting of busts, bas-reliefs, and groups, coming from the deposits of the Modern Art Gallery, the result of donations from artists, legacies from heirs, or acquisitions.
