The first floor of the building houses the Plaster Cast Gallery of the Civic Gallery of Modern Art “Empedocle Restivo”, which collects about sixty plaster sculptures made between the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. It is a valuable collection, consisting of busts, bas-reliefs, and groups, coming from the deposits of the Gallery of Modern Art, resulting from donations by artists, legacies from heirs, or acquisitions.
