The first floor of the building houses the Plaster Collection of the Civic Gallery of Modern Art “Empedocle Restivo”, which collects about sixty plaster sculptures made between the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. It is a valuable collection, made up of busts, bas-reliefs and groups, coming from the deposits of the Gallery of Modern Art, the result of donations from artists, bequests from heirs or acquisitions.
