Calendula and raspberry flowers, rosemary and thyme, peppermint and cornflower: these are just some of the aromatic herbs and flowers that characterize South Tyrol. Farmers, gardeners, and biologists have passed down for years the secrets of a very ancient craft, based on knowledge of the territory – varying by altitude and conditions – and on the strict criteria of extensive cultivation. Months of care and respect for nature lead to the harvest – largely by hand – of the most precious flowers and herbs. And it is for this reason that in South Tyrol the cultivation and harvesting of aromatic herbs and flowers becomes a true experience, to be enjoyed with full lungs while breathing in intense aromas and admiring the brilliance of the colors.
