Museum of Confectionery Art and Technology, Sulmona

In the Pelino Confetti Factory, the Museum of the Art and Technology of Confetti has been set up to document the ancient confectionery craftsmanship that made Sulmona famous worldwide. The rooms exhibit machinery and tools for confetti production, merit diplomas and factory patents, and ancient and precious bomboniere. Several rooms present the evolution of processing tools, in particular, an 18th-century laboratory has been reconstructed. Through prints and drawings, the visitor gets a complete overview of the confetti industry from the Middle Ages to today.
