Museum of Confectionery Art and Technology, Sulmona

In the Pelino Confetti Factory, the Museum of the Art and Technology of Confetti has been set up to document the ancient confectionery production that made Sulmona famous worldwide. The rooms display machinery and tools for confetti production, merit diplomas and factory patents, and antique and precious bomboniere. Several rooms showcase the evolution of processing tools, and a 18th-century workshop has been reconstructed. Through prints and drawings, visitors have a complete overview of the confetti industry from the Middle Ages to today.
