Inside, three main themes are developed: peasant civilization, the forest, and renewable energy sources. In Specchia, the relationship between man, energy, and nature has always been very close, starting from the domestic use of energy and nature – the hearth and the forest – to the development of the local economy through charcoal production activities, which was also necessary to fuel the local low gas plant, closed in 1938.
