Inside, in fact, three main themes are developed: peasant civilization, the forest, and renewable resources. In Specchia, the relationship between man, energy, and nature has always been very close, starting from the domestic use of energy and nature – the fireplace and the forest – up to the development of the local economy through the activity of producing charcoal also necessary to feed the local low-gas power plant, closed in 1938.
