The Fruit Growing Museum is located in the Larchgut residence in Lana di Sotto, an impressive complex consisting of a medieval tower and a later Gothic part built subsequently. Opened in 1990, the museum features extensive documentation of the history and current state of fruit growing in South Tyrol. Topics range from the reclamation of the Adige plain to various cultivation methods, old and new fruit varieties, pest control, irrigation, and up to harvesting.
