Christmas Markets of Bo-Gart Weihnachtsmarkt and Munzingen
On Advent weekends, finally, the traditional Freiburg market is joined by the Bo-Gart Weihnachtsmarkt at the Bollschweil castle, where you can browse peacefully among about 50 exhibitor tables, traversing the elegant gardens and 18th-century courtyards artfully decorated, enhanced by torches, fires, and fir branches adorning the large windows (15. – 16.12), and the Munzingen Christmas Market in Reinach castle, a refined hotel set in a historic context: in the building’s courtyard, stalls offer handcrafted items, Christmas decorations, and culinary-themed gift ideas (16. – 17.12).

The recipe, which remains secret, starts from a dark and aromatic Lager, a specialty of the brewery since 1898. The Glühbier can already be tasted on Fridays and Saturdays at the Ganter brewery’s venue, directly on Freiburg Cathedral square, from November 23 to December 22, 2018.
