The countless number of artifacts, impossible to contain in a single environment and to which some donations have been added over time, such as the archaeological collection of “Lillo-Rapisaldi,” find accommodation in two locations, in Palazzo Addazi and the adjacent Palazzo Lodispoto.
The rich collection of the Museum of the Archdiocese of Trani is divided into several sections. In the Palazzo Lodispoto there is the Stone Section “Benedetto Ronchi” including artifacts spanning a time frame from the 6th century AD to the 18th century AD. In a small room, you can admire the Chapter Treasure comprising liturgical objects.
On the second floor of the building, there are works of the Archbishops of the Diocese, dating from the 14th century AD to today. The archaeological section “Lillo-Rapisaldi” includes prehistoric artifacts from the 6th-2nd millennium BC.
In the Palazzo Addazi, there is the Picture Gallery Section, which exhibits inside it paintings originating from the Cathedral of Trani.
