The Museum of Alessano houses more than 350 works, depicting the Virgin and themes related to her.
Many internationally renowned artists are represented in the collection: from Salvatore Fiume to Ernesto Treccani, from Luigi Guerricchio to Alessandro Nastasio.
In the sculptural forms and on the painted surfaces, the gaze of the Virgin is amplified infinitely: the observation path is twofold.
The works, in fact, simultaneously possess the readability of the sacred and the tendency towards experimentation of contemporary art.
