The State Archive of Pescara has recently moved to the first floor of the prestigious and picturesque headquarters of the oldest and most important distillery in Abruzzo, AURUM, which is also subject to a monument protection decree. The documentary heritage is continuously growing through donations and deposits, as well as by contributions from provincial offices, particularly frequent during a period like the present one, marked by intense reorganization of the administrative apparatus. The library consists of over 10,000 items and, since 2014, there has been a retrospective catalog recovery in the SBN.
The Institute is equipped with a photographic laboratory and has facilities for conferences, congresses, and exhibitions not only related to documents.
