The State Archives of Pescara recently moved to the first level of the prestigious and scenic headquarters of the oldest and most important Abruzzo distillery, AURUM, which is also subject to a monumental protection decree. The documentary heritage is continuously increasing through donations and deposits, as well as transfers from provincial offices, particularly frequent in a period, like the current one, of intense reorganization of the administrative apparatus. The library consists of over 10,000 items and, since 2014, there has been a retrospective recovery of the catalog in SBN.
The Institute is equipped with a photographic laboratory and has equipment for conferences, conventions, and exhibitions not only of documentary nature.
