The State Archives of Pescara has recently moved to the first floor of the prestigious and scenic headquarters of the oldest and most important distillery in Abruzzo, AURUM, which is also the subject of a monument protection decree. The documentary heritage is continuously increasing due to donations and deposits, as well as deliveries from the provincial offices, particularly frequent in a period, like the current one, of intense reorganization of the administrative apparatus. The library consists of over 10,000 items and, since 2014, retrospective catalog recovery in SBN is underway.
The Institute is equipped with a photographic laboratory and has equipment for conferences, conventions, and exhibitions not only documentary.
