Inaugurated in 1977 in the premises of the fortress, it has its main core in the private collection of the painter Cornacchia, acquired by the local Mountain Community and composed of objects from the valleys of the Senio, Lamone, and Marzeno rivers. About two thousand three hundred pieces, not all on display to the public, document local craftsmanship through the faithful reconstruction of some traditional workshops: the shoemaker, the saddler, the blacksmith, the farrier, the grinder. In the exhibition path, divided into fourteen rooms, are illustrated agricultural production, the cultivation and manufacture of hemp and wool, silkworm breeding, and plaster processing. In the basement, oak barrels, vats, equipment, and furnishings document activities connected with winemaking, while some farm carts are displayed in the courtyard.
