Inaugurated in 1977 in the premises of the fortress, it has its main core in the private collection of the painter Cornacchia, acquired by the local Mountain Community and composed of objects from the valleys of the Senio, Lamone, and Marzeno rivers. About two thousand three hundred pieces, not all on public display, document the local craftsmanship thanks to the faithful reconstruction of some traditional workshops: the shoemaker, the saddler, the blacksmith, the farrier, the grinder. In the exhibition path, divided into fourteen rooms, agricultural production, the cultivation and manufacture of hemp and wool, silkworm farming, and plaster processing are illustrated. In the basement, oak barrels, vats, equipment, and furnishings document activities related to winemaking, while in the courtyard some agricultural carts are on display.
