Inside the newly established DiSTeM department (formerly CFTA), the Mineralogy Museum comes to life through the “reorganization” of the minerals from the original Collection and those that have layered over time, in a dynamic process that has seen it enriched by certain donations and the passion of many researchers, but also, at times, impoverished due to relocations and traumatic events, sometimes sudden and linked to historical, social, and cultural contingencies.
