The “Forests of Sila” museum addresses the evolution and structure of the forest formations of the Sila, highlighting some of the relationships that govern the functioning of these delicate ecosystems.
Indeed, it is not only necessary to consider the dynamic nature of every plant landscape, influenced by climatic, geological, and genetic factors, but also to be aware of the complexity of relationships established between plant organisms and other living forms – from bacteria to vertebrates – to understand their value and vulnerability.
