Inside the newly formed DiSTeM department (formerly CFTA), the Museum of Mineralogy comes back to life through the “re-arrangement” of minerals from the original Collection and those that have layered over time, in a dynamic that has seen them enriched through some donations and the passion of many researchers, but also, at certain times, impoverished due to moves and traumatic events, sometimes sudden and linked to historical, social, and cultural circumstances.
