Opened in 2000, it is dedicated to the events in Bologna during the final phase of World War II. Visitors are immersed in the evocative past through a narrative path that recalls the events connected to the successful attempt to break through the Gothic Line. The Memorial space is divided into five scenes, from the TODT roundup to the breakthrough of the Gothic Line by the American army, arranged with dioramas and enhanced with special effects. It also offers the viewing of an exclusive 16mm film about the liberation of Bologna and an exhibition of over 50 original military vehicles, among which stands out a fully operational Sherman tank.
