Inaugurated in 2000, it is dedicated to the Bologna events in the final phase of the Second World War. The visitor is immersed in the suggestions of the past through a narrative path that recalls the events related to the successful attempt to break through the Gothic Line. The Memorial space is divided into five scenes, from the TODT sweep to the breakthrough of the Gothic Line by the American army, set up with dioramas and made evocative thanks to the use of special effects. It also offers the viewing of an exclusive 16 mm film on the liberation of Bologna and an exhibition of over 50 original military vehicles, among which stands out a fully functioning Sherman tank.
