The Palace of Culture is an old convent transformed and renovated in 2001, becoming a cultural hub that houses the Civic Gallery, the Pende Hall, the Nojano Artists’ Hall, and the room dedicated to Dyalma Stultus. Recently, a museum section was created, with various display cases, to host archaeological artifacts: vases, bronze armors, finely crafted plates, and precious goldsmith objects of inestimable historical-artistic value found in numerous tombs dating back to the 6th century BC from Peucete necropolises in the Nojano countryside in the districts of Cipierno, Trisorio, and Calcàro. Famous is the bronze belt with the running quadriga. Currently, these artifacts are preserved and/or exhibited in the archaeological museums of Bari and Taranto.
