“Beltrani Palace stands in the heart of the city of Trani, serving as a connecting element with the 19th-century village. Arts Palace, with its artistic, cultural, and architectural value, can be defined as a multifaceted museum for its functionality capable of conveying culture, engaging citizens in their growth and development through a policy of acquisitions by donations, loans, and borrowings, and through intensified educational workshop activities aimed at bringing young people closer to artistic language.
Beltrani Palace houses the Municipal Art Gallery, dedicated to a great artist from Trani, “Ivo Scaringi,” whose family has loaned about a hundred works for use.
The building also hosts paintings and sculptures owned by the municipality from Southern artists of the 19th century and early 20th century, the donation of Michele Ladogana, and a consultation room containing volumes on Art History and archival materials with historical-artistic content.
The ground floor includes a collection of works donated by Matteo Masiello and is also used for outstanding exhibitions featuring nationally recognized artists. “
