““Beltrani” Palace stands in the heart of the city of Trani, serving as a connecting element with the nineteenth-century village. Palazzo delle Arti, with its artistic, cultural, and architectural value, can be defined as a multifaceted museum due to its functionality capable of transmitting culture, involving the citizen in their growth and development thanks to a policy of acquisitions through donations, loans, and lending, and through intensified educational laboratory activities aimed at bringing young people closer to the artistic language.
Palazzo “Beltrani” houses within it the Municipal Art Gallery, dedicated to a great artist of Trani, “Ivo Scaringi,” of whom about a hundred works are preserved, lent by the painter’s family.
The building also houses paintings and sculptures owned by the municipality by southern artists from the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century, the donation of Michele Ladogana, and a reading room containing volumes on Art History and archival materials with historical-artistic content.
The ground floor includes a collection of works donated by Matteo Masiello and is also used for prestigious exhibitions with nationally significant artists. “
