The historiographical orientations proposed by the Historical-Military Museum are essentially responsive to the territory of the “Julian Alps”, northeast Veneto – Carinthia – Slovenia, as this territory has been at the center of epochal war events due to its strategic-military position.
The Museum anticipates the contents of the “Open-air Museum” namely the ” “Carinthian Forts” and the “Works of the Lictor Wall” (some of which are under restoration) which can be subject to reconnaissance at the end of the visit.
The “Multimedia and multifunctional room”, with the aid of video-sound material, offers information on the historical periods narrated in the rooms to follow.
Then you access the upper floor, to the Napoleonic Wars room, in the room dedicated to the First World War followed by the room dedicated to the last world conflict.
