2 Kruger Estate
About twenty kilometers northwest lies the locality of Boekenhoutfontein, with the original Kruger Estate, partially turned into a museum, featuring four buildings open to the public, including the oldest cottage of the Transvaal, dated 1841, and the two largest platinum mines in the world. In 2010, it hosted the FIFA football championships.
