To visit in Rustenburg, the imposing Dutch Reformed Church, listed as a national monument, and a testament to the history of the Boer settlers, also called voortrekker.
2 Kruger Estate
About twenty kilometers to the northwest lies the locality of Boekenhoutfontein, with the original Kruger Estate, partially converted into a museum, with four buildings open to the public, including the oldest cottage in the Transvaal, dated 1841, and the two largest platinum mines in the world. In 2010 it hosted the FIFA soccer championships.
