There is a wide selection of high-standard hotels and hotel chains, generally equipped with modern rooms, sauna, and swimming pool. Rates almost always include a hearty breakfast, and the on-site restaurants are open until late in the evening.

In summer and on weekends, it is easier to find accommodation at discounted rates, especially if traveling in a group. From June 1st to August 31st, you can also stay in the so-called summer hotels, more economical facilities (rooms with bathroom and shower), occupied during the rest of the year by university students and located throughout all residential neighborhoods.

Some are also part of the Finnish Youth Hostel Association. The offer of B&B and farm stays is wide and interesting. Throughout the country, there are about 300 rural properties able to warmly welcome tourists, offering half-board or full-board options, or simple bed and breakfast.
