The largest trullo in the town is called the Sovereign Trullo. Built by the Perta family in the mid-18th century, this two-story building is used as a museum and visitors can explore its interior, furnished in period style, reconstructed based on the testimonies of the oldest inhabitants of Alberobello.
During the summer, the Sovereign Trullo hosts events such as theatrical performances, concerts by small orchestras or jazz ensembles, and evenings of culture and poetry.
