The largest trullo in the town is called Trullo Sovrano. Built by the Perta family in the mid-eighteenth century, this two-story building is used as a museum, and it is possible to visit the interior, furnished according to the period style, reconstructed through the testimonies of the oldest inhabitants of Alberobello.
During the summer period, the Trullo Sovrano hosts events such as theatrical performances, concerts by small orchestras or jazz ensembles, evenings of culture and poetry.
