The museum of Sesto, inaugurated in 1969, displays mainly projects and sketches of numerous frescoes in two rooms, along with studies, watercolors, and graphic works by the famous South Tyrolean painter Rudolf Stolz (1874-1960). To honor Stolz’s figure, the Municipality of Sesto built a museum in the main square based on a design by the artist’s son-in-law, architect Erich Pattis. The painter’s daughters donated more than 160 works to the museum.
