The municipality of Mezzana includes the locations of Mezzana, Marilleva, Marilleva 900, and Marilleva 1400.
These last locations are connected by a cable car, which in turn is linked to the other ski lifts of Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio.
The municipality is bordered by the Noce river and overlooked by the Dolomite mountain ranges of Paganella and the Ortles Cevedale.
The vegetation grows lushly and it is possible to observe up close the typical flora of mountain areas such as firs, larches, and pines.
The conservation status of this beautiful territory is also protected by a forward-looking local administration that aims to preserve natural resources through sustainable and mindful tourism.
Once, the Val di Sole mainly had an agricultural and pastoral economy, today these activities remain the core of the social and economic life of the inhabitants, but in addition, there is extra income from tourism.
The Val di Sole offers a different face depending on the season you visit. During the cold season, Marilleva transforms into the perfect ski resort – see the details – where all winter sports enthusiasts can unleash their passion for snow and mountains.
In spring and summer, Marilleva and the Val di Sole can offer a complete holiday able to satisfy many needs.
