Il museo di Sesto, inaugurated in 1969, mainly exhibits projects and sketches of numerous frescoes in two rooms, as well as studies, watercolors, and graphic works by the famous South Tyrolean painter Rudolf Stolz (1874-1960). To honor Stolz’s figure, the Municipality of Sesto built a museum on the main square, designed by the artist’s son-in-law, architect Erich Pattis. From the painter’s legacy, the daughters have made over 160 works available to the museum.
