Adjacent to the Sacellum of the Augustales, the theater is partly covered by modern buildings, but some sections of the substructure ambulacra and access to the stands are still recognizable, which at the top rest on the ridge of Punta Sarparella. Currently, access is through the lower ambulacrum, a covered hemicycle with a barrel vault, excavated in tuff and lined with opus vittatum; about half of its height is buried due to bradyseism, featuring the entrance of the radial corridors with a brick arch, which led to another more internal semicircular gallery. At the thirteenth corridor, a straight gallery opens, also half-buried with sand. In the privately owned area, a short section of the upper ambulacrum is preserved, and at a higher level, the remains of a brick arch and a staircase, probably access to the summa cavea.
