Located in a late nineteenth-century former silk mill, adapted for exhibition purposes, the Museum illustrates Messina’s figurative art from the 12th to the 18th century. The collections of paintings and sculptures, art objects, and decorative artifacts are arranged according to a chronological criterion and include works by prestigious authors such as Antonello, Caravaggio, Laurana.
