Located in a former late nineteenth-century spinning mill, adapted for exhibition purposes, the Museum illustrates Messina’s figurative art from the 12th to the 18th century. The collections of paintings and sculptures, art objects, and decorative artifacts are arranged chronologically and include works by prestigious authors such as Antonello, Caravaggio, Laurana.
