The site where the church of Saint Martin stands, dedicated to the illustrious Saint Martin, bishop of Tours, is rich in history and memories.
Here you are in a place where man has come to pray since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the findings in the megalithic area used for worship since 3000 BC. The toponym Corléans also refers to the first inhabitants of the Aosta Valley, the Salassi: according to tradition, their main center, Cordela, was located in this area. Already in a document from 1174, the area is named Corleanum.
