Il sito in cui sorge la chiesa di Saint-Martin, intitolata all’illustre san Martino vescovo di Tours, è ricco di storia e di memorie.
Here you find yourself, in fact, in a place where man since prehistoric times came to pray, as evidenced by the findings of the megalithic area used for worship since 3000 BC. Also, the toponym Corléans refers to the first inhabitants of the Aosta Valley, the Salassi: according to tradition, in this location their main center, Cordela, was situated. Already in a document from 1174 the area is called Corleanum.
