The Palatina Library of Parma holds important collections of ancient manuscripts and prints and is mainly focused on historical-humanistic studies. It collects and preserves Italian national and local editorial production – the latter through the mandatory deposit of printed materials – and acquires publications that document the developments of foreign culture, taking into account the specificity of its collections and the needs of its users. The library is intended for those engaged in study and research activities and for those who cannot find the desired works in other libraries.
