Inside a building confiscated from organized crime in Croce Valanidi is the Museum of the ‘Ndrangheta. A project for young Calabrians and Sicilians that aims at a critical analysis of reality and history, experimenting with new spaces and tools to “organize” their own perspective on mafias. Writing, photography, field investigation, widespread museality, moving from personal study to group work, are the strategies identified to work with young people.
The project was born with the aim of continuing the paths already started in schools of the province of Reggio Calabria since 2008, within the “Museum of the ‘Ndrangheta” project, now with a new interprovincial scope, expanding the institutional and school network to the provinces of Messina, Vibo Valentia, and Palermo.
