The museum consists of three sections: the first is the Baroque basilica, which boasts one of the most beautiful eighteenth-century facades among the churches of eastern Sicily and inside which you can admire frescoes by Acireale artists, sculptures, and furnishings; the second section includes the Treasury rooms, where precious items, sacred vases, and liturgical furnishings in silver and gold are exhibited; the third section, located in the eighteenth-century crypt of the basilica, includes a collection of finely embroidered sacred vestments in gold and silk, finely crafted wooden statues, and paintings by renowned Sicilian artists.
