This theater near the main street of Predappio was built in the 1930s. The building was designed according to the standards of the time for venues intended for public entertainment. Originally, it was named Opera Nazionale Dopolavoro, and later it became known as Cinema Italia. Inside, besides the hall for theatrical and cinematic performances, there were spaces for offices and other recreational and leisure activities. The structure was completed by an external park located to the left of the building, where summer activities and outdoor games were held. Cinema Italia remained active until the late 1970s. After a period of closure, starting from the 1980s, the Municipal Administration initiated a project for its redevelopment. The comprehensive restoration created a multifunctional facility dedicated to theatrical, cinematic, and conference activities, also including a space for the library. The inauguration of the renovated building took place in 1995. (Lidia Bortolotti)
