Montebello Collection by Master Giuseppe Cesetti, Tuscania

The permanent collection of works by Giuseppe Cesetti, organized by the artist himself in the rooms of Montebello Castle, mostly features landscapes and characters from Maremma, depicted with a neo-primitive vision reminiscent of 15th-century Tuscan painting and at the same time naive art (Rousseau), where the bright tones and the absence of chiaroscuro create a fairy tale-like atmosphere and space.
