Collection of Montebello by Master Giuseppe Cesetti, Tuscania

The permanent collection of works by Giuseppe Cesetti, arranged by the artist himself in the rooms of the Montebello castle, mainly features landscapes and characters from Maremma, described with a neo-primitive vision that recalls Tuscan painting of the 14th/15th centuries and at the same time naïf painting (Rousseau), in which bright tones and the absence of chiaroscuro create a fairy-tale atmosphere and space.
